Just last week we saw a report on XDA that Redmi K30 Pro might launch under POCO branding in India and rumors started spreading like a wildfire. People’s first inclination was that the recently launched Redmi K30 Pro could come as POCO F2 in India but that seems to be false.
In an interaction with POCO Fans over a Zoom meeting today, POCO GM, C Manmohan has revealed that POCO F2 is a different smartphone from Redmi K30 Pro. In the same meeting, he revealed that POCO F2 is still in works and it will definitely not be priced around INR 20,000. Like the POCO F1, this new model will indeed come with the latest gen top of the line hardware.
Hey guys, I hope we have answered pretty much everything. For me, it was fun and I really enjoyed spending time with y’all. I hope y’all enjoyed it too!
Well, one thing that we want to know is, how was this virtual meet-up experience?

Manmohan also revealed that the company is working on TWS earbuds. We also broke the news a couple of days back on our socials but that TWS was planned under Redmi branding. It will be interesting to see two buds coming out from Xiaomi or just the one under POCO branding. In any case, expect the POCO F2 to be priced upwards of INR 27k.
