[UPDATE][LEAK] OnePlus 5 Android Oreo Beta Released


UPDATE 3 : Known Bugs, Video Recording not working, Calling issues.

UPDATE 2 : The ROM has been taken down.

UPDATE 1 : There are reports about this ROM Bricking devices, with potential data loss.


A while back OnePlus was among several handset brands that promised an Android 8.0 Oreo update for its recent devices. The company released Android 8.0 update for their last year’s flagship devices OnePlus 3 and 3T. 



We got a tip today from one of our readers with the ROM link for the OnePlus 5 Oreo update. The ROM isn’t that stable yet, since it’s the very first build we would leave the decision of flashing it to you guys. But if you do plan on flashing it, we would recommend doing a clean install.
The new update for the devices bump the OS version to Android 8.0 Oreo with features like picture-in-picture for supporting apps like YouTube.
