Truly Wireless Earphones segment is heating up in India and we saw the entry of Huawei into the mix with their Flagship tws, the Freebuds 3 launch adjust 2 months back. Now the company has been gearing up for the launch of the slightly cheaper Freebuds 3i variant in India.
The brand has not outright revealed the product or the launch date but instead cryptically tweeted about a pair of TWS on their social media. They tweeted out a crossword puzzle and upon going through it, you could see the words like, ‘Comfortable’, ‘Quality Audio’, ‘Charging Case’, and more.
Just for a recap, the Huawei Buds 3i was globally announced early this year and is already on sale in some parts of Europe for roughly $120. In terms of design and specs, the Freebuds 3i features a design similar to that of the Honor FlyPods and has support for Passive Noice Cancellation. The buds are powered by Huawei’s proprietary Kirin A1 chip that does all the heavy lifting and is the brands’ answer to Qualcomm’s QCC514X series of TWS SoC’s.
In terms of battery life, you get 37 mAh battery on the earbuds which last for about 3.5 hours and 410mAh battery on the charging case. The buds are offered in two colors internationally and we’ll have to see if both of them land here or not.
In terms of India pricing, we could it priced somewhere in the range of INR 6-8K with the launch happening sometime next month.
